Vichar Sanstha is an Not-for-profit organisation working for the overall development of the Sagar District of Madhya Pradesh. Vichar Sanstha is working with 500 women from Self Help Groups (SHGs), in the Bundelkhand region,who are on a transformational journey. They are in the contributing in process of manufacturing 5,00,000 diyas and Lord Ganesha idols for Diwali. These diyas and idols are manure-based and completely eco-friendly. Through this environmentally sustainable initiative, these women hope​ to make a living for themselves and it is an important step for them in becoming financially independent.
